Things Change

We've had to slightly modify our schedule. Steven got a job in DC (Financial Management Analyst for the Navy). We'll be moving him into an apartment in Arlington, Va. 3/29. So, instead of driving to DC, driving back to Ohio, then leaving on our tour, we've decided to leave for Atlanta from DC.

Three weeks on the road (I've never packed for a 3 week trip). I'm not looking forward to local laundromats. I am, however, looking forward to the trip. The stadium addresses are all loaded into the Garmin. The details of our travel schedule have been defined. We're ready ... now pray for good weather!

March 1st Update

I feel as though I've turned a corner. Today, I ordered the first tickets for the baseball trip. We'll be seeing the Yankees play the Indians in Cleveland on Saturday April 26th and Sunday April 27th. My guess is one of these games will be snowed out :-)

I want to thank all of you who have contacted me about meeting us at one of the venues. We look forward to enjoying your company.

Nancy is busily planning our 'non-baseball' stops. We'll be stopping at an Azalea farm in Mobile (Nancy loves flowers) and in New Orleans on our way to Houston.

I'm really starting to get excited. I've been planning this trip for 20 years and now we're only a month away from starting! Yahoo!
